Content, quality & images
What kind of content gets accepted?
Classic press releases with real news value: product launches, hires, studies, awards, events, company news. The rule: it must be a real "story", not a pure ad.
What gets rejected?
Pure ads without information value, gambling, adult content, crypto pumps, medical health claims, politically extreme content, anything that violates trademark, copyright or personality rights.
Which image formats are supported?
JPG, PNG, WebP, max 5 MB per file. Recommended minimum width: 1200 px for good display on modern portals. One main image per release is required. Stock photos are fine if you have the license rights.
How long should my release be?
Optimal: 200–400 words in the body, plus headline (max 80 chars), subline (max 160 chars) and boilerplate (about-us block, ~80 words). Too short (<150 words) and too long (>800 words) both perform worse.
Do I need SEO knowledge to write a release?
No. Our editor shows live counters for characters, words and links. The SEO tab lets you optionally set meta-title, meta-description and focus keyword — if you skip it, we generate sensible defaults from your text.
Will the links in my release count as backlinks?
Yes. Per release you can place 1–3 dofollow links to your site. The portals treat them as real editorial backlinks — a key pillar of modern off-page SEO.
